Join us for our Social Convicts Cup Croquet Tournament
Day 1, Friday 15 March 2019 (D) Depart Sydney 9:55AM – Arrive Norfolk 12:45PM (D)
On arrival on Norfolk you’ll be transferred to your accommodation for the next seven nights. A car hire will be waiting for you at your accommodation (1 x Car per unit) and insurance has been included. Petrol is payable direct. Tonight will be dinner at one of Norfolk’s great hotels.
Day 2, Saturday 16 March 2019 (D) Half Day Orientation Tour (Afternoon Tea)/Welcome Function
This afternoon you’ll have a half day orientation tour. See and hear about the famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches and golf course, the renowned Melanesian Chapel, local Government laws and lifestyle on this full commentary conducted tour. Tonight will be a welcome dinner at one of Norfolk’s top spots. A great chance to get to know your fellow players for the week and meet your playing partner for the week
Day 3, Sunday 17 March 2019 (D) Croquet Round 1
Today there will be an opportunity to have a practise before we begin Round 1 of the croquet comp. The rest of the day is at leisure and lunch is own arrangements. Late this afternoon will be a scenic barbeque at Kingston.
Day 4, Monday 18 March 2019 Croquet Round 2
This morning will be Round 2 of the croquet competition. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 5, Tuesday 19 March 2019 (B,D) Croquet Round 3/Island Fish Fry
This morning is Round 3 of the croquet tournament. Late this afternoon enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread & fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts & tea or coffee. Enjoy some local entertainment, on our exclusive private property ‘Orn Daa Cliff’ on Norfolk’s western coastline.
Day 6, Wednesday 20 March 2019 (B,D) Breakfast Bush Walk/Croquet Round 4/ Dining Choice
This morning take your choice of a stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument. If you prefer not to rise early and bush walk you’ll be picked up a little later and taken to join the walkers at Anson Bay as they return from their walk and where you’ll all enjoy a delicious breakfast barbecue on the clifftop. This afternoon is round 4 of the croquet tournament.
Tonight you have a choice of dining options:

Fletchers Fate Mystery Dinner
A fascinating evening of interactive theatre, intrigue and mystery examining the possible last movements and final whereabouts of the famous mutineer, Fletcher Christian. OR
Dinner tonight is in one of the original Georgian era houses in Kingston, ghost talks and after dinner a lantern walk around the historical area of Kingston to see who’s out and about after all these years……. OR
Enjoy a three-course meal progressing to different Norfolk Island family homes. A fun night and a great way to meet the local people and sample some of the Island dishes. OR

Day 7, Thursday 21 March 2019 (D) Croquet Final/Convict’s Cup Social Croquet 2019 Presentation Dinner
Today the finals will be played in the croquet competition. Tonight dress as a convict and join in with the Commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing and dancing. Dinner will include presentations to all the week’s winners.
Day 8, Friday 22 March 2019 (D) Depart Norfolk 1:45PM – Arrive Brisbane 4:30PM
Standard checkout time applies today. You’ll be transferred to Norfolk Airport in time for your flight home.
